Life style Modification that help in reducing your blood pressure

    • Reducing Weight to maintain a Normal Body Mass Index of 18.5-24.9
    • Reducing sodium in the diet to no more than 2.4g of sodium or 6g of sodium chloride
    • Increasing physical activity – regular aerobic exercise such as brisk walking for at least 30 minutes per day more that 4 times a week
    • Consuming alcohol in moderation
    • no more than 2 drinks per day (1oz or 30ml of ethanol or 24oz beer, or 10oz wine or 3oz of 80proof whiskey
    • no more than 1 drink per day for women and light weights
